The Gold truffles Line, involving also the Butter and the Salt, with 23 karats gold and truffles from San Miniato, is a real innovation, born by the mixture of two materials of great value. The Gold Line was born from the idea to mix the food with the white 23 karats gold of the most famous tuber, appreciated all over the world, in order to embellish your table and to create gold truffles. The use of the precious metal in the kitchen dates back to the Italian tradition, and during the Renaissance, when the real banquets were sprinkled with golden powder. Over the time, the customs has been changed until today: famous cooks, such as Gualtiero Marchesi have brought the use of gold for glamorous and brought new life to finest foods.
The mix of wattle honey from Tuscany, and the white truffles from San Miniato is perfect. The sweetness of the honey perfectly melts with the intense aroma of the Tuber magnatum Pico, creating a versatile truffle product. The gold truffles honey is excellent with Tuscan cheeses (online in our website), caciotta and pecorino, but also sausages, fruits and white meat. The gold enlightens and gives quality to the food, making elegant the box.
