Available to buy from the Vivere la Toscana website is this special tasting set of preserves for cheese containing three small 100 gram jars: one of Onion Marmalade, one of Spicy Eggplant Jam, and one of extra Chilli Jam, all produced by the Azienda Agricola Bartoli farm in Pian d’Alma (Grosseto province) and also available individually from our website. All the jams produced by this Tuscan farm contain more than 80% fruit or vegetable, depending on the type of preserve. These premium quality conserves are made exclusively from natural ingredients and contain no chemical additives or colouring whatsoever. This is reflected in the authentic flavour of these excellent products. Combining cheese and jam is typical of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition: the sweet flavour of the milk goes perfectly with both fruit and vegetables. Italian jam and marmalade for cheese is specially created to bring out the flavour of cheeses like pecorino, ravaggiolo and fresh ricotta. Cut the cheese into slivers or small pieces and serve with the jam of your choice as a tasty appetizer, or as a main dish with Tuscan hams and salamis, also available to buy on our website. Bartoli’s Italian jam is made at the family’s own production plant with the fresh vegetables grown on the farm according to environment-friendly methods. After opening, the jars should be kept refrigerated. Please note that orders from our website must be of 12 euros or above.
