Available to buy on our website, organic extra virgin olive oil produced and bottled by the Azienda Agrituristica Marrucola in San Miniato (Pisa province). This 100% Italian superior extravirgin olive oil is obtained directly from olives using only mechanical means. The organic oil is certified by the Italian body authorized by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Mipaaf IT). To be recognized as “organic” a product has to be obtained using farming and processing methods that cause no harm to humans or the environment. This means, for example, using organic substances and natural minerals instead of chemical fertilizers and weedkillers, in order to protect the soil and the ecosystem. The ripe olives are hand-picked so as not to damage the precious fruits from which the noble Mediterranean condiment is extracted. Our organic extravirgin olive oil contains all the characteristics of the best Italian extra virgin olive oils. Its unique flavour is obtained by using olives ripened in a perfect natural setting and by cold pressing them so as to preserve all their nutritive values. Furthermore, the oil is produced according to organic farming regulations, making it a product of the highest quality with maximum health benefits, while supporting the ethical values of respect for the land and the people who work on it. This organic olive oil from Tuscany made by the Marrucola farm is available in three different formats: traditional 750 ml glass bottles, and tins of 500 ml and 750 ml.
