Soft and slightly bitterish, they have a flavoured taste, that perfectly melts with the scent of the white truffles. The Tuber borchii Vittadini is searched from January to April in the oaks wood and in the pinewoods of Tuscany. The aspect is similar to the Tuber Magnatum Pico or White truffle of San Miniato, for its colour and flat surface; however, when they ripen, the colour becomes darker, distinguished from the bianchetto truffles. Only the expert truffle catchers are able to recognize and distinguish the different varieties of the fine hypogeum mushroom and select the best ones for the bottles and the preparation of excellent relishes. The Truffle and asparagus cream is chemical, colours and preservative free. The sole added ingredients are Tuscan olive oil and tuna fish from the Italian seas.
